Jesse Lewis, Music Producer and Recording Engineer

Jesse Lewis is the founder of the Immersive Music Project and a three-time Grammy Award winning music producer and recording engineer.  He comes originally from Seattle, Washington, where he grew up playing trumpet and cello.  Today, Jesse produces some of the most adventurous music projects in the world, much of which navigates the space between genres and disciplines.  In 2013, he produced projects for the Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma, A Far Cry, Roomful of Teeth, Brooklyn Rider, Jan Vogler and others.  Additionally, he recorded two albums with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Gustavo Dudamel.

The Immersive Music Project aims to discover and develop new music formats and release channels by incorporating new technologies and designs into highly tactile new music experiences, both physical and digital.

Jesse continues to play baroque and grunge cello, and trumpet on holidays.  When not in the studio, Jesse mountain-bikes, kayaks, hikes, camps and reads.  Jesse likes all kinds of weather.
